It’s Monday again so that means that I am back at my regular job and won’t get any crafty time in for a few days but I did get some time in over the weekend. Here are a few cards that I made:
All are fairly simple and uses one of my favorite techniques, dry embossing. I really like the nice clean but textured look that layering a dry embossed panel gives to a card. It allows the focal point to stand out but adds so much subtle detail to the overall look.
Also this weekend I played around with my newest toy from Crafter’s Companion – The Diamond Press Die Cutting and Embossing Machine. It’s a tiny, extremely portable machine that makes perfect little tags and accents for card makers. I had to test out all of the various dies and embossing folders that came in the kit and ended up with a bunch of tiny pieces of cuteness on my desktop so I assembled this card from many of them. This little machine will probably be my go to for embellishments, tags and sentiments since it’s so easy, fast and portable.
I hope you had a crafty weekend!
